I enjoyed this re-telling of the folklore that is Robin Hood. Now set in the time of Edward II. With nothing known of Robin Hood every book can tell its own tale and this is a good one ( )
Good spin on an oft-told tale. Fits the historical context nicely. Interesting, if a bit, stereotypical characters because we had seen this story so many times before. The plot moves along briskly enough to sustain interest. ( )
