I am going to attempt to make a list of those of us that met the following goals:
GOLD: read all the gold medal books
SILVER: read all the silver medal books
PLATINUM: read all the gold and silver.
I will attempt to message any members that are no longer current to ascertain whether they have achieved these goals. Any member that reads this and wishes to be listed, plz message me.
Books don't need to be read in order, but this thread is calculating in consecutive order, from beginning, 1922.
For instance, I have been editing my silver thread, by consecutive calculations, excluding (temporarily) non-consecutive years.

i have completed all the newbery/honors for many years. but, have only completed up to early 40's in order. I have a dislike of gangly threads with thousands of entries in which the reader is left searching for pertinent data. since i didn't want to be all over the place, i have not yet figured-out a solution for that. i have been just pretending i haven't finished years until all their predecessors are included.
since i have fewer than 50 remaining i have a dedicated thread/ticker for my remaining ones. i have gaps in 40's; 50's; 60;s 70;s - but i think all my later years are mostly complete.
also i made a dedicated thread for my ramblings/charting elsewhere, that tracks books/decades, but not completeness of awards.
feel free to make dedicated threads for your processes, and share ideas with us for how others might do the same. for instance, FUZZI and FOGGIDAWN have dedicated threads when they finish books. I dont think they are following any particular order.
