Group Read, July and August 2023: Nominations

Please nominate up to two books you would like to have as our group reads for July and August, and second as many nominated books as you like.

I nominate Hugo Claus, The Sorrow of Belgium, and Bessie Head, A Question of Power. The first is quite long and the second quite intense. They seem like books to read in the summer when one has time and stamina.

As I not read either of these and there are no other nominations I’ll second both and (unless someone wants to nominate other books in the next day or two) can make these our July and August group reads.
