It's a rainy start to the second quarter in my part of the world. What 1001 Books are you reading during April's showers?

I recently finished the odd and charming A World of Love and slogged through The Rainbow with it's dense writing. And apparently I decided to start Dog Years.

I've started Good Morning, Midnight by Jean Rhys. Boy, is it ever bleak :(

I started Gone With The Wind this week. I thought it might take me the rest of the month, but I'm moving through it quickly.

My goal is to get to The Sea by John Banville this month. But, I'm also reading Clarissa by letter date and April has A LOT of letters!

All Souls by Javier Marias. I managed to get my book group to read this one for April. I am assured that it's not just another academic novel and so far, so good.
