Paragonas Vaunt

Xenofestation 2-02 is another great entry in the series. It's lighter than most of its predecessors--though the author warns us that darkness is looming--with much more humor than horror. As always, there is a touch of mystery and intrigue.

The story centers on two encounters. A smuggler negotiates with a customer whose disarming fantasies lead to a most unusual sexual encounter. And the impregnation center's intake technician interviews a woman whose belief system and life experiences are beyond her imagining. Both scenarios make the point that we sometimes don't have to look any further than our own species to find beings that are bizarre and incomprehensible.… (mais)
