A sensitive, well-written book about a young girl and the tribulations, danger and loss she has to face as a Jew living in Germany during the 1940s. Whilst I think "Hello God" is a better story, this is still a worthwhile read.

a delightful book that addresses the sadness one feels when their close friend is dying. Often we don't know what to say or do so talking to God is one way that fear, sadness can be expressed, A funny, open hearted story.
