Resenhas

This book addresses the crisis in American social and religious life. It is in disarray because older images of common purpose have lost their power, and compelling new images have not yet been formed.

Parker Palmer offers a sensitive and brilliant critique of the tendency to use education as a tool for mastery, manipulation, and control, instead of a way to form relationship and respect. I admire Parker's depth and personal honesty.

I am currently participating in a circle of trust as described by Parker Palmer in this text. I hope to write this review as part of this activity.
