Every night she would leave out a slice of cake for the mice and little did she know she was in for a big surprise. The baker ("pastry chef") goes to bed after a hard day's work which was actually on her birthday that she didn't get to celebrate. While she's sleeping mice prepare her a birthday cake. The baker (an elephant) awakens from the smell to find a surprise, jumbled cake for her to eat as a birthday.

A very touching story about friendship and an unexpected birthday. A really cute story for children.

One night he sets a table for two with a candle. A bug flies in and gets nice and cooked. Worried it's his butterfly love Barry investigates. It's not her. But the bug sure looks tasty! Barry goes back to his bug eating ways.… (mais)
