Even though this is written for young children, and even though we've explored the website, geocaching.com, fairly thoroughly, I recommend novice cachers read this book if they can get it from the library. There was info. new to me, for example: 1) leave a treasure like a particularly special item of nature and 2) the inexpensive GPS units mentioned are cheaper because they don't have maps like the ones for autos.

This book contains a lot of great geocaching details for a "Level 3: Read Alone" DK Reader.
