John Loring has been the design director of Tiffany & Co. since 1979. In addition to designing for Tiffany's, he writes on art and design and is the author of eleven previous books, Loring was the New York bureau chief of Architectural Digest. Mr. Loring lives in New York City

A gorgeous book that is much a history about the influences on (and influence of) jewellery design of the past century as it is about the wonderful pieces produced by Tiffany. A book worth littering with flags to give loved ones not-so-subtle hints!
