An interesting look into the lives of poorer folk.
It was also interesting to think that Gregory, of the Gregory Clause who lost a fortune on Horses was pinch penny enough to bring in a clause that ruined people who owned land. Thankfully my ancestors were able to band together to buy that land eventually, becoming landowners a year before an act of parliament made it easier.
Galway was a hard place to survive but it's interesting to see how it did and I'd like to learn more.… (mais)
