A comprehensive study of an amazing species of bird. I'm lucky enough to be friends with our local magpie family, so I knew they were wonderful birds, but now I have an even greater respect and understanding of them. It's not exactly what I'd call light reading but it certainly will give you a greater appreciation of these beautiful birds.

A non-fiction book, this is a short account on the many aspects of the life of an orangutan, greater apes found in Sumatra and Borneo. The books discusses habitats, reproduction, communication, interactions with others, including humans, and a variety of other life aspects. I felt this was a good book to help a person begin a basic understanding of this species.
