Charming picture book with a non-hibernating hedgehog who wakes up to his surprise and encounters friends rabbit, wood mouse, badger, mole, and squirrels who drop Christmas decorations on him. He arrives home to his surprise since he had no experience of Christmas and is grateful for the friends who helped him learn about it. As an aunt to a 4 and 7 year olds who love hedgehogs I expect this will appeal to many.

This book is another delightful entry in the series about Hedgehog and his friends. Each one is a sweet story of friends who care for each other, and each one is beautifully illustrated. It amazes me how gorgeous each of these books is. Bless Badger's heart--he learns a difficult lesson, and, as always, Hedgehog and his friends work together and help each other. I'm looking forward to sharing all of these books with my grandson.

A cute fact-filled book about sharks! The images are just lovely. Sometimes the text can be a bit hard to read, though.

What a fun and beautiful book! We loved seeing and learning about the different creatures. My kids liked that it was a story, but also had fun facts about the creatures. It is a great story that teaches about the joys of helping others. We loved the illustrations. They made us feel like we were right there in the water with the creatures.
