Pequena biografia
Matthew Green is a journalist and author of The Wizard of The Nile, a book about his quest to track down Ugandan warlord Joseph Kony, which won a Jerwood Award from the Royal Society of Literature.

In July 2013, I returned to the UK from my last assignment covering Afghanistan and Pakistan as a special correspondent for Reuters to write my new book, Aftershock which documents the struggles of former British soldiers to adapt to civilian life. The book is due to be published in March, 2015 by Portobello Books.

For the past 14 years, I have worked as foreign correspondent for Reuters and the Financial Times, reporting from more than 30 countries, mostly in Africa. I was embedded with U.S. Marines during the 2003 invasion of Iraq and spent fours years in Afghanistan and Pakistan, where I investigated Taliban finance and the kingpins of the heroin trade.

I appear often as a current affairs commentator on the BBC, review books for the Literary Review and lecture at universities. Apart from journalism, I am fascinated by matters of meditation and the mind.

Resenhas
