No serious collector of British Gallantry, Campaign & Service medals can afford to be without a copy of this definitive reference work. Using this, 30 years ago, I was able to identify a Waterloo Medal which came into my hands "sans suspender" as part of a not-very-serious coin collection. Not being a medal collector at the time, I would have passed over that Waterloo Medal had it not been for this book. I still have both book and medal - the latter one of the gems of my small collection.
