PAWS: Gabby Gets It Together de Nathan Fairbairn
This book is about three girls who love pets, but their households are not allowed to have them. They begin searching how to get time with an animal. They got dog walking jobs and absolutely love it. I would recommend this book to 5-7th graders. It is a fun easy read, but can help motivate them to start finding small side jobs for a few dollars everyday.
This series just doesn't miss!
It always delivers on lovable characters, doggies, and artwork. Priya learns the lesson of knowing when to advocate for yourself. In the background, one of the PAWS girls gets obsessed with social media.

Gabby, Mindy, and Priya are best friends who love animals but none of their households can have pets. They come up with the idea of starting a dog-walking business to be around animals and earn money at the same time. The project begins to divide the friends however; Priya's sports mean more work for Mindy and Gabby; Mindy focuses on the money-making; and Gabby has ideas for the business that her friends don't seem interested in. The girls' disagreements get pretty tense; you almost wonder if the friendship will survive. Dogs and best friends--the themes will draw young readers.… (mais)
