It's always astounding to read a mafioso talk about being a man of honor and drawing fine lines distinguishing his actions and those of others. The clearest message for me was the brutality of organized crime, the way it murders its own and those perceived to have slighted the organization or some "man of honor."
Mafia expert Diego Gambetta has chosen to discuss Men of Dishonor: Inside the Sicilian Mafia, on FiveBooks as one of the top five on his subject - Sicilian Mafia, saying that:
