A girl survival book. I think I could get some of my Hatchet fans to read it, there is even a mention of it in the storyline. It's a short easy read.

Like her other novel, Stranded, this is a super-great read for those who love outdoor adventure and wilderness survival and memorable, believable characters, well-paced tension, good research... What more can I say? A newly favorite author. Would love to meet her one day and chat about outdoor adventure writing! And really hope she keeps 'em coming.

Sooo fast-paced and suspenseful and full of the outdoor survival and action and adventure I love. Only just discovered this fellow YA adventure novelist, and hoping she writes many more.
