The Mayan Prophecies for 2012 de Gerald Benedict

A bit more scholarly than, say, that drivel of a trainwreck by Carlos Barrios, which I gave one star. But, although there is a bit more background here, and a bit less new age piffle, and there are some nifty appendices, but it still is crap. Three lines of translated Mayan text, which come out like Nostradamus, and then interpreted in odd, discursive ways. Also, biggie, it is 2013 and none of the 2012 stuff happened. So...
