The way it is written is very simple to comprehend and generally easy to decipher from a child's point of view. The author writes about all the facts of dust in a fun but informative way. She includes details that children can relate to, like dust being created from the dead skin cells that rub off our body when we play outside. She does a great job making the text child-centered in order to make the information stick with them. Along with the content, the illustrations are also very well done. Each page has an abundance of vibrant colors. The illustrator also makes the visual of the dust in each image very prominent. This book is great for teaching a lesson, as a fun read or even just a bedtime story. This is a book about different ways that dust forms. I really enjoy the pictures in the book, but I thought it was going to be more informational on things happening around bedtime. I do like how it gives many different examples of what dust can contain like salt from the ocean and flakes on skin from our bodies. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha

Like the water cycle, there is a dust cycle that is changed on a daily basis and is what makes sunsets are different each evening. Really! I had heard of cosmic dust, seen how volcano ash changes the sky, and so on but I have never really thought that much about dust. So, children would like to read this book because it is full of big thoughts and facts they can use to surprise people, which of course they love to do.
Recent fires have changed sunsets on the west coast, and sunsets are quite brilliant in 2020. ( )
