The aim of the title is to inform adults and children alike of the basic needs of children, and the rights they are entitled to enjoy, amongst other affection, protection, shelter, food and education. A title that simultaneously presents the ten rights in all eleven official languages of South Africa. To further underline the multi-cultural nature of the country, five different artists have each contributed two illustrations.
