As we neared the end, you wondered why we hadn't seen the Sabretooth yet and then BAM! There it was. ( )

This book, Sunset of the Sabertooth, is a huge hit in the third and fourth grade classrooms. A lot of students are really engaging in the Magic Tree House novels. This book for example, shows a lot of great detail and imagery for the students to unravel. I also think that the students love these books is because the characters are about their age and going through the same developmental changes, therefore, the students can relate to the minds of the characters in the novels. I would have my students create their own, Magic Tree House story about an adventure that they want to go on, or create an imaginary adventure. ( )
