Missile Mouse (The Star Crusher) would be a very, very good graphic novel for boys aged 4th-7th grade. It is very sci-fi related. There are no female characters. This book is very much all boy. Missile Mouse is tough, confident, and always on a mission. This was such a cute book!

A colorful, action-packed space fantasy for the young ones, complete with explosions, evil leaders, and spy activity. As an agent for the Galactic Security Agency, nothing fazes Missle Mouse during his assignment to rescue a kidnapped scientist and stop the Rogue Imperium of Planets from reactivating a long-dormant and deadly weapon. Missle Mouse is tough and confident, and a promise he made to his father informs all that he does to help protect the universe. ( )

I've ordered the first Missile Mouse for our juvenile graphic novel collection, but couldn't wait to read it anymore, so borrowed a copy from another library to preview it!

Missile Mouse is an agent of the GSA - Galactic Security Agency. He's courageous, fast, and tough. But maybe not so smart...when his last mission ends in disaster, he's saddled with a newbie agent to keep an eye on him. Together, they're sent out on a dangerous mission. If they fail, the galaxy is doomed!

Along the way, Missile Mouse will have to battle weird space creatures, crooks, betrayals, and his own past to save the galaxy yet again.

This story has all the classic sci-fi comic elements, strange creatures, an evil organization trying to take over the galaxy, tough loner who wants to fight it out alone, and even an eager apprentice. But Jake Parker throws in some plot twists and turns that will keep the reader on their toes and Missile Mouse's past makes him a sympathetic and more dimensional character.

The art....it's my favorite part! Clean lines, glorious color, crisp, snappy action, hilariously imagined baddies, even funnier good guys.....I mean, Missile Mouse is....a mouse. With huge ears! The bad guys are....sharks. *snicker*

Verdict: This is definitely going to be veeeery popular at my library and the kids will be clamoring for the next book in the series! Get drawing, Mr. Parker!

Missile Mouse is an intergalactic space cop. He was to find a compose that pointed the way to dark plasma. But his guides betray him and his rival captures the compose. The reason why he needs to find the dark plasma first is that it is used to make a star crusher. It is a weapon that makes black holes and can destroy entire planets in seconds.
This a good book to read. it is a graphic novel. The story line is creat. I wish they made this book in to a movie. There is a second book in its series called Missile Mouse and the Rescue on Tankium3. This is an easy book to read for all ages. ( )

Missile Mouse is a daring spy for the Galactic Security Agency, and to his boss's eternal frustration, while MM is always successful in his missions, he usually leaves damaged spaceships in his wake. When tasked with rescuing a brilliant scientist and the dark matter the evil Rogue Imperium of Planets (RIP) plans to use to create an universe-ending weapon, Missile Mouse's prowess and quick comebacks may just get him out of this mess. A fun, exciting sci-fi read for boys, grade 3-5. (Sadly, there's not a single female character present, though I suppose that's better than the only female character being evil...)
