Hope has stayed away from Sisters, Oregon and her two sisters for years. Different as night and day, the three sisters had never really been close. She comes home for her grandmother's funeral and discovers that Nona has left her not only her home but almost a million dollars. The only stipulation is that Hope must live in the house for one year.

Hope, who knew her grandmother's attorney in school, meets him again. There really wasn't that much going on between them. The two characters didn’t'[t click in my opinion but suddenly they are in love and getting married. There wasn't really anything leading up to their characters getting together.

I much preferred the give and take between Hope and her sisters. That is what gives the book a 3 star rating in my opinion. ( )
