In addition to the letter-word pairs, this book also includes explanations of Japanese culture in the margins. ( )

I think this book brings up some issues for how to introduce Japanese culture into a classroom. This book calls the English alphabet Japanese but the true Japanese alphabet looks nothing like the English alphabet.
