Some summers are just destined to be pretty. Belly measures her life in summers. Everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August. Winters are simply a time to count the weeks until the next summer, a place away from the beach house, away from Susannah, and most importantly, away from Jeremiah and Conrad. They are the boys that Belly has known since her very first summer??they have been her brother figures, her crushes, and everything in between. But one summer, one wonderful and terrible summer, the more everything changes, the more it all ends up just the way it should have been all alo Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |

Belly is approaching womanhood when she goes back for the next summer at Cousins, this time she's an “adult” and will not be treated like a child. Summer in cousins was her favorite time of the year… The sun, the beach, the perfect house, and Conrad. Belly has loved Conrad for as long as she has remembered, but will this summer be the summer she finally gets him? Or will she find someone else along the way? And who would this be? Certainly not a boy from her past… or Conrad's brother, Jeremiah… right?
Review: (Possible Spoilers)
It felt wrong to give this book a two star rating especially after seeing how much hype the book and the tv show got. I am not sure if it's just me being the romance fanatic I am, but I found this book boring. Nothing happens other than hearing Belly talk about how she's been pining over Conrad forever, talking to a boy named Cam, and complaining how this summer is different from the past. I just found it very whiny. I was waiting the entire book for something exciting and shocking to happen and I never felt it. I don’t want to fully hate though, because the book IS cutesy. But that's about it. I would recommend it if you are looking for a light read about teen summer romance, but if not, don't waste your time. Very rarely can I say.. The show was better. ( )
