This was a book I read as an adult to my son, Gage, when he was younger. There's nothing too special that stands out about the Arthur books for adults, but they are enjoyable enough for children. Not too funny or interesting. ( )

This book begins when Arthur and D.W. take their baby sister, Kate, to a fair in the street. They bring their dog, Pal, along. Everything was going well until Kate begins to cry. Once Arthur figures out why Kate was crying, he starts frantically searching for Pal.

Arthur's Lost Puppy by Marc Brown, Arthur takes his two younger sisters, D.W. and Kate, and his dog, Pal, to the street fair. Kate cries the entire time and nothing will make her happy. While Arthur and D.W. are searching for a way to make her hush, Pal escapes. Read the book to see find out if Kate ever stops crying and if they find Pal. This book is for beginner readers, K - 3.
