German Panzers in World War II is a highly-focused, closely-detailed look at how the Panzerwaffe worked, and how German armored warfare evolved from 1939 until defeat in 1945. The book examines the organization and strength of the German tank forces that took part in each major German campaign launched during the war, from the first thrust into Poland to the last ditch gamble of the Bulge offensive.
