This is a fun rhyming book about building a road. Kids of all ages will love the action words and silly sounds as they look at equipment and work for a foundation that helps us go places. ( )

This is a very literal-minded, meticulous description of how a road gets made, in rhyming couplets, which is obviously fascinating to a toddler and now I am not sure why I only gave it 2.5 stars. ( )

Great picture book for boys! (girls too, but especially boys who like to know about trucks and what they do) - "sound words" on each page to capture attention. Also really nice that there is a page in the back that tells about all the different kinds of trucks in the book - helpful for "What is that?" questions!
