Samantha Taylor, better known as Sam, is a beautiful, talented woman with long, silver/blond hair who is the creative star at an ad agency in New York. She has everything she wants until her husband leaves her for another woman. Heartbroken, she takes a much-needed sabbatical to California, where she finds love again with Tate Jordan, a ranch foreman, who gives her the nickname, Palomino. But, just when Sam thinks she's found her second chance in life, she suffers an unspeakable tragedy and finds she must redefine herself again. I greatly enjoyed this rocky romance that ends well. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha

This one was a tear jerker. The main protagonist went through so much hell, including becoming disabled, you just read it and hope she gets something by the end. Her life was just a spiral down to a never ending bottom! In true Danielle Steel fashion, you get love, betrayal, loss, accidents, addictions, and everything in between for the main character to find her peace.
The television movie they made for this wasn't that great, and came after NBC stopped funding their miniseries they used to show on Sunday nights. ( )
