I actually did a quick review on Volume 4 before doing this review because I've been pondering this third volume of the series. I really think I need to re-read it again. There are a few things I didn't like about it starting off with the discovery of Hyoue's vice (not at all something I would have expected). However, it does serve to bring home the fact that although he may LOOK (and sometimes act) like a teenager, he is not one at all. I also didn't care much for the two characters introduced in this volume. The first is a self-absorbed former kid star and the second a sort of refugee with a peculiar fascination/obsession. The reason I say I think this volume in particular bears re-reading is because maybe it will give me a better sense of these new characters. I really don't think we are meant to like them, but maybe we are supposed to find some granule of attraction for them to be further explored as the series goes on. If that is the case, I missed it.

These things aside I still love these mangas and was thrilled to see that there is another volume (7) due out in December. I think I would be quite sad to see this series end so soon! ( )
