When Molly is "kidnapped" by pirates she has quite the adventure as she tries to return home. Molly sends attempts to contact her parents by messages while she is stuck on the ship. Molly is ultimately rescued by her brave mother.

In this book pirates take a little girl from her small ship. It ends up that her mother is an infamous pirate herself and saves her daughter from the other pirates and even takes them as her servants.
This book is a decent example of fantasy. The characters are realistic and there is no magic involved, but it has a borderline imaginary world and a peculiar situation. The pirate world this takes place in is borderline imaginary, as there is some reality to pirates throughout history. However, this pirate story does not follow the history of pirates accurately, which is what makes it borderline imaginary.
