What I liked most about this book was the positive, uplifting quotes on every page. This is what makes people more confident to do things and keep trying. Hillary ran for president and almost made it, I wonder if she will try again? And I never knew she wanted to be an astronaut. This book would be good when talking about history and presidents. Learning what it takes to run for senator and going to law school to help others. ( )

Yep, I cried. This book is heartwarming and motivating. I have an assignment for another class called add-a-page, and I'm going to add a page about her helping women in her home state by creating the first domestic abuse hotline. Upon "getting into politics" a few years ago, Hillary has always stood out to me. A smart, accomplished woman who raised a kid during law school. Could you imagine?! I'm further inspired to fight like a girl. I also like how much extra information about her life is given at the end of the book. I know I often brag about illustrations in my reviews, but these were especially good, and I love all the quotes, especially the one from Eleanor Roosevelt, who was Hillary's hero. ( )

Hillary Clinton has always been a motivated woman with dreams bigger than anyone. In this book it took us through Hillary’s life giving us insight on what she was trying to do for the world and how she felt. As the book chronologically talks about how Hillary got to where she wanted to be we learn many important things about her. First we learn that she was determined to become an astronaut one day. People always told her no, but that didn’t stop her. Hillary was very smart and loved going to school. She even got to shake Martin Luther King Jr. hand at one of his speeches. He inspired young Hillary to want to change the world and help others. As the book continues on giving us insight on her life we learn that Hillary went to an all women’s college where she learned how the government works. She then wanted to become a lawyer so she could help the people who really were in desperate need of help. Eventually, Hillary married Bill Clinton and ended up becoming the First Lady of the United States. Her husband Bill was elected president for eight years. Hillary was then able to voice herself like never before and help in women’s rights. This book was very creative with the pictures and colors on every page. It also gave quotes from other important people such as Eleanor Roosevelt and Hillary as well. I thought it brought more insight to the book as I read. ( )

This book is great for girl empowering. You learn many interesting facts about Hillary, how she wrote to NASA because she was inspired to become an astronaut, to her even meeting Dr, Martin Luther King Jr. It promotes how girls are and can be equal to men even when society says no. We learn how Hillary kept a positive mind in her life even when there we many roadblocks in the way she persisted until she reached for the stars. ( )

Hillary Rodham Clinton shows that women really can do anything a man can do and just as well or better. This book should be in every classroom because it encourages feminism, but in a very positive light. I loved that the book was flooded with inspirational quotes on every page. The last page is my favorite.. "Sooner or later, we will have a woman president, and it will be because of every girl who has wanted to fly". Women and girls need to step outside of the box we are forced to live in and understand that we do have purpose and we do have responsibility, men, especially white men, should not rule everything, women's rights are human rights, and human rights are for everyone.
