Right now there doesn't seem to be a lot of new books out, but there are plenty of old ones. LITTLE BUNNY'S PACIFIER PLAN is probably the wordiest I've read, and interestingly enough as it has a new take.
The approach in this book is to restrict pacifier usage gradually by area!
**POSSIBLE SPOILER
But let me back up. The book begins with a 'history' of how the main character learned to love his binky. There was a baby. The baby was happy until one day he/she wasn't. Some adult stuck in a pacifier and baby was happy again.
This persists until a visit to the dentist where the good tooth doctor suggested a plan. At first the plan is to restrict usage to bunny's bedroom. Then to a chair. It's okay to use it as long as you want as long as you stay to these areas.
I FOUND this to be an intriguing idea. I suspect that it might really work for some kids. But like all binky strategies it will probably not work for all.
THOUGHTS
The artwork is okay. It's cute enough.
This is a fairly wordy book with only okay writing.
Obviously if this plan works the book is worth it's weight in gold.
