I think it is really relatable for a lot of kids who are feeling lonely or want more friends, and it's a good lesson. The lesson could be that, while you are trying so hard to make friends, you might not necessarily realize what great friends you already have/ made along the way. I love the part at the end when, instead of just explaining to beaver what his echo is, the wise beaver makes it more deep saying that when you are sad, the echo is sad, sort of saying that the echo is a reflection of who you are. It also has a really sweet meaning because at the end, when little beaver said that he has no friends, all the animals he picked up along the way said, "hey we're your friends!". I love this book now because I can better appreciate the meaning of the story because of friendships in my life that I have grown to appreciate so much while I was always trying to make more friends. I also really love the pictures in the book; they look like they might be watercolor, but the setting on the lake and the soft, water colors are really nice.

Unaware that the voice from across the pond telling him he's lonely is his echo, a little beaver sets out to make a friend of that voice, encountering real animal friends on the way. Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |
