Just like the title says, it picks up where the story leaves off after season 7. The pacing of a graphic novel makes it feel like the book is much too short, but I think that is just a print versus screen thing. More importantly, the book succeeds in feeling like a Buffy story. Now I'm going to have to buy them all. ( ) A friend of mine told me that Joss Whedon was going to do a comic book BTVS with everything that he wanted to do if the show had gone another season. And let me tell you this is a must read for all BTVS fans. It pics up shortly after Season 7 ends letting fans know what happened next. My only complaint is that it is much too short and there is too long of a wait before the next issue! Great first episode/installment of season eight of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The audience is clued in on what happens after Sunnydale, including the other Slayers in the world, and what happened in Rome with The Immortal. We see how Buffy and the other Slayers have reorganized into new teams and groups, with old friends helping out. A surprise with Dawn leaves questions seeking answers only to be given in future episodes/installments, as well as a subplot that runs parallel to that of the Slayers', which involves a certain witch who is re-introduced back into the series and leaves an amazing cliffhanger. All in all, an outstanding opening to season eight! sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
