A series of monologues, not really related to each other or to any particular subject, just characters talking to each other, to the audience, or to themselves. There is very little special about any of the monologues; in fact, it is their very ordinariness that actually recommends this work. It is a look at people that are believable, not hard to follow, and could be our neighbors. The main complaint is that the monologues tend toward a certain superficiality, but again, that adds to the sense of the ordinary that is part of this work. ( )
