I thought this book was very terrible. I'm not joking.

The illustrations are nice enough. But the book itself is blech in my opinion. There is no point. Sure, it's an odd egg and something is going to hatch. It's predictable. And then I feel like all the animals get eaten in the end.

As I said, it's terrible. ( )

Critique:
It is a fantasy book that shares the experience of waiting the eggs to hatch. All birds in the story laid an egg and witnessed their children born from the eggs. Only the duck had no egg. She found an odd and monstrous egg which finally turned out to be a crocodile. The whole story surprised me when the eggs are hatching, especially the odd egg. I really appreciate the design of egg hatching in the pages.

This children story makes me laugh. The crocodile has decorated by duck's feet.
