As the seasons pass the birds grow and fly away when winter comes. The book has educational value when it comes to birds, however not much passed that. I use this for preschool and not much higher than that. ( ) This book is meant to help students with reading. It involves repetition of words and as stated by it's inside content meant for teachers/parents it is meant to be read to with help. Probably for first graders who are moving up in reading and second graders who need extra help. The story involves some true elements about birds (like they do whatever their mom does). But it also has fictional aspects in the illustrations like goose eating spaghetti. The boy who was taking care of goose and duck was not sad when the birds "knew who they were" and flew away with the rest of their flock. A boy becomes the mother to a goose because as soon as he hatched, the boy was the first person he stared at. Everything the boy did, the goose would do. Then the boy found a duck egg. When the egg hatched, the goose was the first to make eye contact with the duck so the goose became his mother. Everything the boy did, goose would do and everything goose did, the duck would do. When the goose and duck got a little older, they realized where they were supposed to be. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
