I really like this book because I can relate to it. I am having a baby girl and my step son I also very anxious about her being here. I would read this book to a children's classroom because at a young age, most students will be having little siblings soon, if they do not already. ( )

Waiting for Baby is about a boy who is expecting his first little sibling. The process is taking forever and he cant wait any longer! He has so many questions on the baby in his mothers belly and wants to know when its going to come out. This book is really good because I think its realistic of how a older sibling will feel waiting for mom to have a baby brother or sister. ( )

Waiting for Baby is about a young boy who is impatiently waiting for the arrival of his new sibling. The boy's mother tells him the baby should be coming soon, and when it does not the boy occupies himself with fun activities to pass the time. The baby finally arrives and the boy is very excited. This book would be great to read to a small child who is waiting for the arrival of his or her new sibling. The book is written on a level that many small children could easily understand. ( )

Waiting for Baby by Harriet Ziefert is a colorful book about a soon-to-be big brother impatiently waiting for the arrival of his new sibling. Max keeps tries to coax the baby out of his mom's belly, not understanding how it really works. Eventually he gets tired of waiting so he "forgets" about the baby then, his new baby sister arrives. I think this book would be good for soon-to-be siblings. Children can also learn about patience and anticipation. When you are constantly anticipating something, it feels like it takes forever and a day to happen. If one is patient and uses their time doing other productive things, things seem to happen more quickly. ( )

A great book that help children in the waiting process of a new sibling.
