A story of strong faith, endearing love, courage and strength; set in the mid-1800s in Texas. This is book two, so you are coming into this story missing some of the background of these characters. The United States is caught in a 'web of destiny' to fight with Mexico and claim Texas as ours. You will watch as Alan Kane waits patiently for his deceased brother's wife to get over her grief and then he will declare his love for her. This story will span a decade of the Kane family and their life on the Diamond K Ranch, watching and waiting for war with Mexico. (
