Ima loved to ask questions, so this was one of her favorite days. The classroom was full of science projects. While Ima was going around the room to ask questions, she accidentally ruined some of her classmate's projects. The teacher had to send the principle out of the room so the students could have time to get their projects ready again. The science fair was a success and Ima got to do her favorite thing, ask questions. This is a great book to show what happens at a science fair. ( ) When their school is having a science fair all of Mrs. Shepherd's students are eager to present their projects. From rockets, to volcanoes and dinosaur bones the fair has everything. Ima however, is very curious and likes to ask a lot of questions. Each time she sees a project she tries to figure out what it is by touching as well as asking about it. This leads to many of the projects exploding or breaking. The book shows several science concepts. The questions that Ima asks are the ones that the readers many have. When the projects go off, they show exactly what science concept they represent. This book exposes students to many different projects that can be done in a science fair and maybe even encourage them one of their own. Though I have never been to a science fair, reading these books has been amazing. It has given me some knowledge and experience with science fairs and how they work. In this book, students were excited for the science fair, exploring their projects and learning. Mrs. Shepard is also very excited. Principal Helm comes to see the science fair and is very impressed. I knocked off a star because I misread the book at first and thought this book was focused on a black girl creating an awesome rocket for science fair day, but it wasn't. I still commend this book, though, for having a girl (albeit white) being so interested in science. Nonetheless, this is a cute book of a class science fair day gone wrong due to this girls curiosity. In the end, after multiple projects have been disastrously accidentally deconstructed, and after multiple attempts to delay the principal's entry to judge the projects, the class finally reassembled their assignments in time. Everyone gets a ribbon except her. Read to find out why! sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
