The most notable aspect of this children's story is the fact that it is written in both English and Spanish. The inclusion of this story, the culture, and the language of the culture brings new light and meaning to this book. It's a book that becomes multifunctional. Students who are learning English (or Spanish) can read this and reference their native language to help build an understanding of the novel and the language. This incredible read about Mexican culture and how heavily music plays a role in it is something that every student should read. I know for a fact that in my future classrooms, this will be both a read-aloud book and a story that my students can read independently. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
