Carregando... Careless in Red (2008)de Elizabeth George
Lynley, still recovering, is hiking when he runs into the body of a boy who's fallen from a cliff while climbing. Things, as usual, aren't what they seem. Lots of characters to care about and suspect, and Lynley, broken as he is, struggling to deal with it all Thomas Lynley ya no es comisario de la policía de Londres. Least enjoyable of the P. George books. Too much about irrelevant subplots. I "read" this in audio format and it turned out to be quite long. I, however, found it very interesting and enjoyed it enough I am "reading" another one of hers in that series. It is a murder mystery and she develops the characters quite well. It might have included some details which were not necessary and maybe could have been shortened, but I did enjoy it. I like descriptions and character development, as you get to know the people in it better. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha

Scotland Yard's Thomas Lynley discovers the body of a young man who appears to have fallen to his death. The closest town, better known for its tourists and its surfing than its intrigue, seems an unlikely place for murder. However, it soon becomes apparent that a clever killer is indeed at work, and this time Lynley is not a detective but a witness and possibly a suspect. Anyway, the mystery in this one? Eh. I kind of guessed who it was and then the ending sorta just fizzled out. There wasn't a twist or anything exciting at the end. It was just...sort of...over.
I would read more of hers, but this was just meh. (
