- Het materiaal of de materialen waarvan het kunstwerk gemaakt is
- De grootte van het kunstwerk
- Het museum of de plaats waar het kunstwerk zich bevindt
- Het jaartal (eventueel geschat) waarin het kunstwerk gemaakt is
Al met al een prachtig boek dat uitnodigt tot uitgebreid doorbladeren. ( )

While the photos are nice and it is interesting to walk through a point in time page by page, country by country; there is next to no named women represented in this book. I anticipate women to be under-represented in a collection of influential art but from 1900 to 1995 (~1,000 pgs) there are exactly 3. ( )

This enormous work provides an image and accompanying text information about 1000 of mankinds' greatest or most significant works of art over the past 30,000 years. It's a great way to present the information, although perhaps a little too awkward and heavy to read in bed. ( )
