Paula Deen, (proprietor of the Lady and Sons restaurant in Savannah, Georgia) with her blue collar southern, somewhat overpackaged commercialism is not everyone's cup of tea. But this is a good little book of Christmas ideas, and her clear zest for entertaining shines through. If the odd packaged or processed product offends you then steer clear but most recipes are 'from scratch'. Paul Deen has, in addition to the restaurant, a magazine, TV shows, etc. - see www.pauladeen.com. I was surprised at this size of this book - it's *tiny*! Rather than a full-fledged cookbook, it's really just a small collection of Paula's favorite holiday recipes, tied together by some of her and her family's christmas memories. I did enjoy the book, but at $23US, the price is a bit steep for what you get. sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
