This book, with it metaphoric poetic verse, cycles through all the seasons, with a heavy emphasis on Fall. ( )

I really enjoyed this book and I think that it was very informative. I think that is a good book because it teachers children about the seasons and how things change while time continues to go on. Children never really realize how nature changes when the seasons change. It talks about how in autumn animals are gathering up things for the winter, and then in the winter the animals are sleeping and it is snowing and Christmas comes, and then in Spring brings storms, and then in the summer you travel to the beach and then autumn starts over again. I think this would be a good book for 2nd graders and even 3rd graders. ( )
