This story is about a little girl who is like everyone else but looks a little different than everyone else. She has freckles all over her and red hair. In the beginning of the book she realizes she doesn't like her red hair and freckles everyone calls her Freckleface Strawberry. So, she tries to hide behind a mask. However, as the book progresses she realizes that even though she is different her friends did miss her while she was in hiding. Teaching kids about positive self worth and self-esteem.

This story is about a redheaded girl who has LOTS of freckles and how everyone always calls her freckle face strawberry. So she tries to hide her freckles and when she finally removes the hat over her head all the kids said they missed her and was so happy to see her.
