First, the whole book was written in rhyme, making it easy for the reader to flow through the reading. For example, the author writes, "meanwhile, my insides were gurgling and grumbling, I wasn't hungry, but something was rumbling." I also liked how the book gave a glossary on the first page, informing readers of the Spanish words they may not understand while reading the story. I loved how the book used around 1-2 Spanish words in each sentence, without including the translation underneath. I noticed that in other bilingual books, the translation is demonstrated right on the same page. I believe that keeping the translation separate, in the glossary, readers are encouraged to try their hardest to figure out the word by using their context clues, rather than give up and look at the translation. The big idea of this book was to never pass up a chance to use the bathroom because you'll never know when you'll have to go. ( ) sem resenhas | adicionar uma resenha
On her way back from a picnic with her parents, a little girl who did not need to "tinkle" suddenly remembers that there is more than one reason to visit a restroom. Text includes some Spanish words and phrases. Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |
