As a person who really loves dialog between characters, that is pretty much all this book was. When the audio started, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to sit through 11 hours of someone reading email, letters, and chats. Turns out it was a great way to get to know the characters! The story was engaging, and kept me interested in what was happening next. I really enjoyed the book, and look forward to reading more by this author. ( ) I loved this book. Reading reviews, I got the impression that a large proportion of people who enjoyed PS, I Love You didn't like this one as much. I had the opposite reaction. This was very much like the play Love Letters by A.R. Gurney, which I adore. It was fun to see the two main characters grow up and fall in love with each other without realizing that the other felt the same way, as well as having the worst timing ever. Thankfully, Ahern's book ended on a much happier note than Gurney's play. Highly Recommended.
